WML is very proud to announce our very first ever
Waterford Music Lessons Guitar Jam!
Friday June 11th, 2010, 7-9 pm
Shamrock Music Shoppe
108 N. 21st Street
Purcellville, VA 20132
Historic District
For a long time, we've been wanting to give our students some real jam experience, and now we've found the perfect place, Purcellville's coolest new music space, the Shamrock Music Shoppe in old town Purcellville! Our goal is to give our students a chance to meet and do some playing together.
We'll provide a drummer, a bass player, and a microphone set-up for any one who wants to sing. There is nothing more fun than making music with other folks, and here's a fun, casual way to give it a try!
I will be there guiding the jam and making sure everyone who wants to gets a chance to play. Students should bring their guitars, electric or acoustic, and guitar tuners. Electric guitar players should bring cables and portable amps. But don't worry, we have two of everything!
For a selection of jam tunes including charts and mp3s, visit our Song Chart link in the left-hand nav panel. All students and parents are welcome to come along (alas, we can't provide a piano or keyboard at this time) and join in anyway they like, or just sit back and enjoy.

Waterford Music Lessons is really excited to announce a partnership with Purcellville's First and Only music store, the Shamrock Music Shoppe! This rad coolness-hub just showed up in old town P'ville, and is run by Scott Kinney (some of you may know his bro, Jeff Kinney, of Wimpy Kid fame).
We've found that being part of a local music community is exciting and inspiring to our students. We are also looking forward to offering our students an opportunity to jam with other musicians at Shamrock, so they can put their burgeoning chops to the test and experience the sheer joy of playing with other musicians. Look for a heads-up from Julia about the where and when of student jams at the Shamrock!
